Be back on track!

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (NIV)

I read the book of Romans several times, but it is my friend's testimony made me realize how Romans 8:28 works in lives. 28 Aug has special meanings to my friend, it was the date she moved to the current country after divorce and it was also the date you left the current country 10 years later after her arrival to move on with her new husband. A day of sadness can then be turned into something good to glorify God's name later on. It's all under God's plan for us.

In acts 16:25 we can see that Paul still have joy to preach during his imprisonment with Silla. We all know that not every sufferings are in God’s sake, but suffering for God is something rewarding because God wants us to grow in faith and time and ask us to be still to know that He is God. Through suffering, God build up our faith and trust in Him. Present suffering can be turned into future glory for God.

During the pandemic outbreaks, we are all suffering from having financial challenges, death of friends and family members, restriction of freedom to enjoy personal lives, health issues and inconvenience experienced etc. Some people may ask why God allows it to happen, but remember, God's wisdom is higher than men's. God can use everything and every situation including good or bad times to make you back on His track to fulfill His plan! You need to trust that God is working for our good behind the scene and have faith in Him!

Lord, we know that you are working 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for our good and please forgive us if we are impatient on your timing to come. Protect us from going a wrong direction when we are suffering from pain, sadness, health condition and financial difficulties. Please let the Holy Spirit talk to us in a strong voice so that we know you are working on everything for our good. In His name, Amen!
