Do follow God's commandments!

NIV Romans 3:20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

More than 2021 years ago, Jesus came down to the earth not to abolish the law but to fulfill them. That's why the Apostle Paul kept on reminding the Jews that through the law, it was not enough to be declared righteous in God's eyes, but with Jesus' salvation, we are saved. NIV Romans 3:20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

As Christians, we should always remember the ten commandments and follow them today. God is perfect, but we are not. The ten commandments clearly outlined God's moral and ethical requirements, through the law we should know what God likes and dislikes us to do. Although the law tells us what sin is, God is merciful enough to let us choose whether to sin against Him.

Father, thank you for giving us your law to follow. We know that the law can't standalone for us to be righteous, and Jesus is our source of salvation. Help us understand you more so that we can be free from sinning against you. Amen!
