Control our tongue and keep our whole body in check!

NIV James 3:2 We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.

When someone asks you about what is holding you back from moving forward in your lives, what will you say? Is it your past success or failure? Is it your shame on doing something wrong in the past? or is it anxiety on stepping out of your comfort zone?

No matter what it is, God has forgiven our past sins when we have acknowledged Him as our savior. NIV James 3:2 We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check. James taught us to learn to control our tongue first, once we can do it, it shouldn't be difficult to control ourselves in other areas of life.

Father, thank you for teaching us to control our tongue. We all stumble in many ways, but you tell us to confess, repent and move on. Help us resist the temptation from the world so that we can be delivered from sinning against you. Amen!
